Carmen Torrado Gonzalez manages and aids a variety of functions for the Stewardship and Strategic Planning Team, including assisting the Vice President with constituent outreach strategy planning, leading new partner outreach with a focus on engaging diverse audiences, and stewarding current partner relations. Carmen also manages Aspen Leadership Group’s social media strategies and assists with the marketing efforts for the team at large. She previously served as Research and Operations Associate, aiding a variety of functions within operations, marketing, business development, and finance. Carmen originally joined the team as Administrative Specialist, Research and Operations.
Before joining Aspen Leadership Group, Carmen held the position of Inventory Manager at Buffalo Street Books in Ithaca, New York, where she was responsible for the maintenance of all inventory needs, communication between the bookstore and its publishers and distributors, as well as stewarding and managing the portfolios of partner non-profit organizations. Prior to Buffalo Street Books, Carmen served as Program Coordinator in the Donor Relations department at Ithaca College and as Marketing Assistant at Cornell University Press.
Carmen graduated from Kalamazoo College in 2017 with a B.A. in English Literature and Creative Writing. She holds a 2022 certification in Social Media Marketing from the SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University. Based in Ithaca, New York, Carmen enjoys swimming in Ithaca’s gorges, hiking, reading, and gathering with friends.
