As Managing Director of Ingenuity International, LLC, Mary Lou leads global recruitment of CEOs, c-suite officers, and board directors. She has conducted searches for some of the best-known global brands in the consumer and retail categories.
Mary Lou serves as a trustee of the University of Chicago, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Mather Foundation, the Chicago Humanities Festival, the Chicago History Museum, and the National Opinion Research Center (NORC).
Mary Lou earned a master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and an MBA from the University of Chicago. She also received an honorary Doctor of Humanities from her undergraduate alma mater, Saint Mary’s College (IN).
