Rebecca DuFault, Principal, is a nationally respected advancement leader with nearly 25 years of experience across several of the country’s most prominent academic medical centers.

She has previously held senior roles at Mass General Brigham, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, where she led large, complex teams and guided multi-billion-dollar campaign strategies, donor relations programs, and organizational change initiatives. Her work has shaped the philanthropic landscape of Boston’s leading healthcare institutions and contributed to the success of major national fundraising efforts.

Rebecca is deeply respected within the Boston philanthropic community and across the national academic healthcare sector for her ability to build strong, enduring relationships with colleagues at all levels. She is known as a trusted partner to senior development leaders, faculty partners, and executive teams, valued for her collaborative approach, sound judgment, and ability to bring people together around shared goals, particularly within complex institutional environments.

She has served on the Board of Women in Development (WID) of Greater Boston, co-chaired the WID Institute for Non-Profits, and played a leadership role within the National Association of Cancer Center Development Offices (NACCDO) as a mentor and co-chair of the Campaign Affinity Group. A frequent speaker at national conferences—including the Association of Donor Relations Professionals, the Association of American Medical Colleges, and NACCDO—Rebecca has shared insights on campaign planning, donor relations, organizational integration, and talent development. Her expertise reflects both the breadth of her experience and her ability to translate complex institutional needs into clear, actionable strategies.

Rebecca holds a B.S. in Education from Old Dominion University and an M.S. from Long Island University. Originally from New Jersey, Rebecca has called Boston home for the past 25 years. Having traveled to all seven continents and nearly 100 countries, she is often found plotting her next adventure and answering the question, “Where to next?” with a mischievous grin.
