Senior Advisor
Robert J. Hurst, Senior Advisor, is an experienced financial leader and long-time supporter of education, the arts, and social services. Bob is Vice Chairman of Crestview Partners, LLC, and previously served as Vice Chairman and as Director of Goldman Sachs where he held a variety of other leadership positions in investment banking for 30 years. He is also a board member of numerous other public and private companies.
Bob is chairman of the Executive Committee of Board of the Whitney Museum of American Art, where he previously served as board president and Chairman for 14 years. He is a former Chairman of the Board of the Aspen Music Festival and School, a former member of the Board of Overseers of the Wharton School, former chairman of the National Cyber Security Center, a trustee of The Aspen Institute, chairman emeritus of the Jewish Museum, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Bob was founding CEO of the 9/11 United Services Group, the coordinating arm for thirteen social service agencies involved in relief activities, including the Red Cross.
Bob earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree from Clark University. He also served as a Public Finance Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania.
