We are pleased to announce the promotion of three team members to the position of Senior Vice President.

Anne Johnson, most recently Vice President and Senior Search Consultant, joined Aspen Leadership Group in 2015. She leads searches in all parts of the nonprofit sector. Anne has helped us build a strong and thriving arts and culture practice and has chaired regular convenings of ALG’s Senior Search Consultants. Anne will now serve as Senior Vice President and Senior Search Consultant, with a special focus on the client and candidate experience.

Don Hasseltine, most recently Vice President and Senior Search Consultant, joined us in 2017. He leads searches and strategic thought partnership consulting in all parts of the nonprofit sector. He has helped us build a vibrant practice in higher education and has led the Business Development team. Don will now serve as Senior Vice President and Senior Search Consultant, with a special focus on business development and strategic thought partnership.

Josh Romalis, most recently Chief Operating Officer, joined ALG in 2015. He leads all operational areas, including finance and administration, human resources, research, software, and information technology. Josh will now serve as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, with a special focus on all operational aspects of the firm.

As Anne, Don, and Josh take on the co-management of ALG’s day-to-day search and consulting practices, Founding Partners Ron Schiller and Jeff Hanavan will lead efforts to expand ALG’s support of exceptional careers in philanthropy, increase our positive impact on the entire nonprofit sector, and build upon the success of ALG’s first ten years as a premier executive search firm.
